There may I though vile as he

In honor of the thief and to the infinitely greater honor of Christ the Lord.

The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his day;
And there may I, though vile as he, wash all my sins away.

Hi Matt,

Another wonderful music post. I have not heard this hymn before, it reminds me of one I sang growing up called "I Stand All Amazed".
I noticed your discussion with Mr. Gormley and was very intrigued. At the close you noted that justification and sanctification can be confused. Many Christians define theological terms differently, which, I believe, accounts for some of the misunderstanding between denominations. I would love to hear your explanation of these two concepts.

I hope you have had a good week.

Hey SP,
Glad you enjoyed the music. I'll try to write what I mean by those terms sometime.

Norah,
Great to have you comment here again and glad you enjoyed the music.
